Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what we do not do with it.

HAUT Protection Film Inc. (“HAUT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through haut-usa.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Information you provide directly — your name, email address, phone number, and message when you submit a contact form, request a quote, apply to become a certified installer, or sign up for our newsletter.
  • Payment information — when you make a purchase, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; Stripe collects and processes it directly under its own privacy policy.
  • Automatically collected information — your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and referring URLs, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in Section 3 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries, quote requests, and installer partner applications
  • Process orders and payments
  • Send requested newsletters, offers, and product updates
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site
  • Understand how the Site is used, so the pages that answer real questions get better
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms & Conditions

3. Cookies & Analytics

We measure how the Site is used, and we do not advertise through it. In full:

  • Google Analytics 4 — to see which pages are read, which are abandoned and which questions people come here to answer. It sets cookies beginning _ga. We have switched off Google’s advertising features: no Google Signals, no ad personalization, and no linking of your visit to a signed-in Google profile for advertising purposes.
  • Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights — page views and page-loading performance, measured by our hosting provider. These set no cookies.
  • Cookies the Site needs to work — your shopping cart and, if you sign in, your session. Without them those features cannot function.

We run no advertising pixels and set no advertising cookies. There is no Meta Pixel, no ad-network tag, and no audience built from your visit. Nothing we measure is used to follow you to another site.

You can block cookies through your browser settings, and Google publishes a browser add-on that opts you out of Google Analytics entirely. Blocking analytics does not affect anything on the Site; blocking all cookies will break the cart and sign-in.

4. How We Share Information

We share information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (payment processing, hosting, email delivery, and analytics)
  • Certified installer partners, when you request a quote or introduction through the Site
  • Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law

We do not sell your personal information for money.

5. Your Privacy Choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights — for example, California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of the “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. On that last right there is nothing to opt out of: we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 9 — we answer them for everybody who asks, whichever state you live in.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes, after which it is deleted or de-identified.

7. Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
