Self-healing topcoat
The topcoat is an elastomeric, lightly crosslinked surface. Warm it and the polymer chains regain enough mobility for the network's own elasticity to pull a light swirl back out — the deformation was stored, not removed. Wash marks close instead of collecting into a season of haze.
Clear on the colors that expose a weak film
White, silver and light metallics are the ones to look at on a demo car — a grey cast, a haze band at the edge. Transmittance and haze are numbers, not adjectives: Master's are being measured at a US laboratory to ASTM D1003 and go on this page when the report is in hand.
Installer-friendly stretch
A bumper corner asks for maybe twenty percent of stretch. Master lays into it without stress-marking and comes off the tuck clean, which is the margin a film needs where it matters. Tensile strength and elongation to ASTM D882 publish when the report is in hand.
Water leaves, and takes the dirt with it
The topcoat beads water hard enough that road film rinses off rather than bonding. Less time on the wash mitt is less time putting swirls into the film you paid to protect.
