Paint Protection Film, Color PPF & Interior Film
Version 1.0 — Effective: September 9, 2026

Who Gives This Warranty

This Limited Warranty is provided by HAUT Protection Film Inc., 361 S State Rt 17, Hackensack, NJ 07601 ("HAUT", "we", "us") to the owner of the vehicle on which qualifying HAUT film is installed ("you").

What This Warranty Covers

We warrant that, for a period of ten (10) years from the date of installation (the "Warranty Period"), HAUT film installed on your vehicle will be free from the following manufacturing defects:

  • Cracking — the film losing elasticity and splitting;
  • Delamination — the film's layers separating, or the film lifting from the paint without physical cause;
  • Blistering — the film releasing from the paint and rising in a bubble, absent any physical cause;
  • Premature Yellowing — a change in color or clarity occurring far earlier than normal ultraviolet aging of the film. Gradual color change over years of sun exposure is normal for a sacrificial protective layer and is not a defect; whether a change is premature is determined by HAUT upon inspection, in consultation with the installing shop.

Conditions of Coverage

This Limited Warranty applies only if all of the following are true:

  1. The film was installed in the United States by a HAUT-certified shop;
  2. The film was purchased through HAUT's authorized supply chain;
  3. The film was installed within twelve (12) months of the installing shop's purchase of the film and within the film's stated shelf life, and was stored by the shop per HAUT's storage specifications — verified against HAUT's sales records for the installing shop;
  4. The film has not been removed and reinstalled.

Registration. We strongly encourage you to register your installation at haut-usa.com/warranty/register — registration takes about two minutes, is free, and makes any future claim a simple record lookup. If you did not register, you may still make a claim by providing proof of a qualifying installation (the installing shop's invoice, your VIN, and the installation date).

What We Will Do

If a covered defect appears during the Warranty Period and the conditions above are met, we will replace the affected film free of charge, including the replacement film and installation labor at a HAUT-certified shop. Replacement labor is performed by your original installing shop wherever possible; if that shop is unavailable or you have relocated, we will assign another certified shop. Labor is reimbursed to the shop per HAUT's published labor allowance.

Replacement film is covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period; replacement does not restart the ten-year term. Replacement of the affected film is your exclusive remedy under this Limited Warranty.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Impact damage — rock chips, scrapes, stone strikes, road debris (this is the film doing its job);
  • Normal, gradual change in color or clarity over years of ultraviolet exposure;
  • Any condition traceable to the installation itself — air or contamination trapped at install, over-stretching, edge lifting from trimming technique (these are matters between you and the installing shop);
  • Damage from accidents, vandalism, fire, hail, or any event that would damage the underlying paint;
  • Film installed by a non-certified shop, or film purchased outside HAUT's authorized supply chain;
  • Film installed more than twelve (12) months after the installing shop purchased it, or beyond its stated shelf life;
  • Damage from harsh chemicals, abrasive polishes, automatic-wash brushes, or pressure washing directed into a film edge;
  • Failure of underlying paint or clear coat that was already compromised, and film applied over repaint or body filler that releases;
  • Normal wear at high-abrasion points, and staining from contaminants left on the film for extended periods;
  • Film that has been removed and reinstalled;
  • Installation or removal labor, vehicle downtime, or any cost other than the replacement described above.

How to Make a Claim

  1. Photograph the defect — a wide shot of the panel and a close-up, in daylight;
  2. Email warranty@haut-usa.com with your registration reference (or, if unregistered, your name, VIN, installing shop, and installation date) and the photographs;
  3. We review the registration or proof of installation, the install date, and the photographs against our records; we may request inspection at a certified shop;
  4. If approved, replacement is scheduled through a certified shop.

Claims must be submitted within thirty (30) days of when you first noticed the defect and within the Warranty Period.

Transfer

This Limited Warranty is registered against the vehicle and transfers to a subsequent owner of the same vehicle for the remainder of the Warranty Period, provided the new owner re-registers at haut-usa.com/warranty/register within sixty (60) days of acquiring the vehicle.

Limitations

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, HAUT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
