Your privacy choices

Do not sell or share my personal information

We do not sell anything about you. We do share one thing — page views, with Meta, to measure the advertising that sells our cutting software to installation shops. You can switch that off here, for this browser, right now.

Current setting for this browser

Sharing is on

The Meta pixel loads on this browser and reports that a page was opened, along with the identifiers Meta’s own cookies set. Nothing you type into a form on this site is included. Turning sharing off changes nothing about your orders, your warranty or how we handle a claim.

This setting is stored in this browser only, so it does not follow you to another device and clearing your site data clears it. We do not keep a list of who has opted out — that would mean keeping a record of you in order to record that you did not want one.

What is shared, and what never is

This site carries one advertising tracker: the Meta pixel, for Facebook and Instagram. It records that a page here was opened, together with the identifiers Meta’s own cookies place in your browser — including the click identifier from an advertisement you arrived on — and the IP address and browser user agent that every web request carries. Under the CCPA and CPRA that is sharing, and we say so in the policy rather than around it.

Your name, email address, telephone number, VIN, and anything you submit with a warranty registration or a claim are never included and are never matched against an account at Meta. The pixel does not load at all on your account pages, on sign-in, password reset or checkout, or on warranty registration and warranty status.

Other ways to stop it

The switch above is the direct one. These work too, and they work across every site rather than only this one:

  • Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser or an extension. We honour it automatically, and when it is on the switch above is not needed.
  • Block or clear cookies for this site in your browser settings.
  • Use the ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account.
  • Email us at info@haut-usa.com with “Do Not Share” in the subject line, and we will action it by hand.

Whichever you use, it changes nothing about your orders, your warranty coverage, or how we handle a claim, and we do not treat you differently for using it.

The policy itself

Section 1 of the Privacy Policy lists what the pixel records, Section 3 names Meta Platforms, Inc. as the recipient, and Section 6 sets out your rights under state law. If you have registered a warranty, the notice for vehicle owners is the shorter document written for you.
